This all pays off the post-credits scene from Zootopia 2, where a single feather drifted onto Judy's windowsill right after she played back Nick's recorded message saying, "Love you, partner." Bush explained the franchise has only scratched the surface of this world so far, saying they've only seen one city on one continent on one planet, meaning there's plenty more story left to tell.
