Tool-assisted playthrough using savestates between levels. CD32 version has parallax graphics, CD music, one extra level / world and one extra world. This increases total number of levels by 10 (over 50% more levels). Some levels are also slightly modified.

First (of four) shoot 'em up bonus level seemed to be missing from 2.1 in this version. It should have been found above the first save point. IMO shoot em up bonus levels are really boring and also difficult to finish. There were some audio issues with the game. caused either by wrong emulator settings or by poor copy of the game. The game would also crash after level 2.2 if I visited a small secret room so I had to skip it, but I did show how it can be found.

Item count needs to reach 75% on hard difficulty, before it's possible to exit a level (level 2.2 is an exception). Overall Zool is much more playable compared with Zool 2, because of moderate sliding physics in Zool 1.

World 1 - 02:46
World 2 - 07:53
World 3 - 20:26
World 4 - 26:57
World 5 - 42:41
World 6 - 52:25
World 7 - 59:25

Gameplay ends at 1:06:43. There's no ending besides the last cutscene. Full boss music, end screen music and high score music can be found at the end.
