Level 39. Ar Zaljan "Merchants returning from Ar Zaljan say that all is lost but one must never abandon hope."
Been a while since I last carpeted. Decided to improve on my old recording of this level done four years ago. This video is in better quality, in one part and exactly five minutes faster (12m 47s) than the previous one. There's still some room for improvement though. You have to get a bit lucky also if you want to get through the level without too much work.
A little word about strategy: Build castle on top of archers to get a quick mana boost at the beginning. Also, building near Vodor will give quick access to his mana as well. Pick up lighting storm at the other end of that sealed section and keep on building up mana so you can cast it. There are invisible points to trigger new enemies and events on map. These have some kind of sequence where one point has to be triggered before the other. Triggering these points also reveal new spells such as meteor, but more often I did not find it. If you can't get the meteor you need to get the lightning from one of the wizards somehow or banishing them will be very difficult. Weaken the castles with lighting storm and collect the mana. At the same time try to lure the wizards away from their castles, kill 'em with either lightning or meteor and try to quickly erase the castles before wizards respawn. Depending on how much mana you got before banishing all wizards, you might need to kill few random monsters before you have enough to finish the level. Wyverns give the best reward.
