What hamster absolutely loves watching the sun shining and/or setting at any time, as well as having beautifully vibrant sunset orange & pink shaded combo fur that makes her a truly unique one to have?? It’s Sunbeam, aka one of the newest hamster characters introduced for the very first time in the new Zhu Zhu City Hamster line that was released as one of the Wave 2 City Hamsters since late November 2025! I got Sunbeam at Walmart (of course) and she was one of the last two I needed to have all the Wave 2 colors of the Zhu Zhu City Hamsters, actually the last Wave 2 City Hamster ironically. I especially really love how Sunbeam looks for her vibrant color-combo of sunset orange & pink fur which makes Sunbeam another great one to have, and is almost similar to Carly (who nearly shares the same color type for her fur as well) where they probably could be either cousins or siblings since they almost pretty much share the same fur combo pattern, and Sunbeam is also about the same as Twilight with each of their fur combo patterns being a bit similar but in different color shades.
Fun fact: Sunbeam was quite a NIGHTMARE for me to find (much harder to find than it was finding Num Nums) where I literally had to travel at so many Walmart stores and wait so many months, until Sunbeam FINALLY showed up in stock at a few Walmart stores where I successfully bought her to have all the last City Hamsters from Wave 2, since Sunbeam was the last one I needed from the second wave! Sunbeam may have the be the RAREST Wave 2 Zhu Zhu City Hamster for this reason and from my experience since she was apparently much harder to get than any of the other Wave 2 City Hamsters I find at Walmart that I see a bit more often, and I’m not even kidding about that LOL
Now I’m all caught up and waiting until the upcoming Wave 3 City Hamsters (and hopefully Carly) will be available at stores soon this year, and is something to really look forward to.
Sunbeam apparently makes Nugget’s sounds instead of having her own unique sounds, but do gotta say that even though it would’ve been cool if Sunbeam had new unique sounds that aren’t from a specific Zhu, Nugget’s sounds still seem to fit well on Sunbeam. It’s also awesome to hear her sounds in much higher quality for the first time as well which also gives me some nostalgic feelings back to listening the sounds Nugget (from the original Zhu Zhu Pets) makes, which is another good reason why to love this hamster like I do, since Sunbeam is quite a really beautiful one in so many special ways! Even if it’s not reintroduced/new model of Nugget, it’s still really cool to hear them on a newly introduced hamster character for today’s Zhu Zhu City Hamster series, which is heard from Sunbeam in this case. I also like how cute her smiling sun birthmark looks on Sunbeam which perfectly suits her well too!
The new Wave 2 Zhu Zhu City Hamsters (like Sunbeam) are all newly introduced characters that not only have such beautifully-patterned fur colors but also perfectly detailed birthmark symbols of their own, and each have their sounds in much higher quality compared to many of the original line of the Zhu Zhu Pets that each have their sounds slightly distorted.
I’m truly impressed with these guys in the new current line of the Zhu Zhu Pets.
Highly recommend getting a City Hamster like Sunbeam if you haven’t already while they’re still available at Walmart and/or ToyWiz stores. Hope y’all enjoy my review of the new Zhu Zhu City Hamster release of Sunbeam, and I’ll eventually be having more reviews of all the rest of the new City Hamsters out soon as well! 🌞

This is the Gemmy Animated 2012 Mini Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer which is a really rare variant that hasn’t ever been known to exist until years later!
This is a special variant of the Mini Rudolph series from Gemmy that has darker fur rather than the lighter fur that many of the previous ones had like the 2010/2011 models of this Rudolph, has no hair in his ears, and the nose is plush instead of hard. This unique variant of Rudolph is surely UBER Rare to find and one of the most rarest Gemmy Rudolph items to come across, especially since there wasn’t even any videos of this exact Rudolph in action at all (until now), and even I didn’t know this version existed either.
I got this Rudolph for my birthday this year a few months back and thought why not upload it in action since it’s Christmas already, so here it is lol
I’m also officially the second person to upload a video of this 2012 model Mini Rudolph in action on YouTube as there is also one other video of one in action that was uploaded by a Gemmy collector named Erik The Fish Guy. Mine works great with no issues and has a nice normal pitch too. I’m hoping he’ll last a long time since these Mini Rudolphs are so cheaply made and are known to just break so easily (like I used to have the 2010 and 2011 of this but those are more common than this and both of those broke).
Surprisingly, this was the very last Rudolph to play the classic recording we all loved that sounds exactly like Rudolph in the good old years of Gemmy and they used this recording from 1997-2011 and since this was released in 2012 where they weirdly changed the recording on other Rudolph items in that year, this still has the legendary recording and is the last Rudolph to have from Gemmy. I find that pretty amazing and way better than using a new recording that sounded nothing like Rudolph at that time. This is super UBER Rare and very hard to find anywhere, no joke!
