Today in China to end decades of conflict Zhang Lan will take control of the nation through one final power struggle with Chiang Kai-shek. In the meanwhile he will bring democracy to the CPC and bring it up to strength to deal with incoming foreign threats.
An uneasy coalition will be formed with the nationalists to ensure a united front against Japan, the regional warlords will be brought to heel and the Red Army will recover from it's long march and become the world-class army ready to take on any enemy.
