mybad for taking 9 months to upload a new collection that is not even 2 minutes long including all the jokes i put in it do u still think im a good editor
not only did i take an accidental 4 month break from editing but my laptopppp randomly died in february (around valentines day, the 2 year anniversary of getting it ???? it was not an old laptop..) & i had to wait until i got home for spring break for my dad to take it apart to get the harddrive but THANKFULLY all the data was safe. my last backup was from may 2022 i would have been DEVASTATED to lose that much omfg.
sooo ya heres my collection, clearly im losing editing steam but i know im not gonna quit bc ive tried like 3 times to quit now & have clearly been unsuccessful so i will stick around like a slight cough after a cold ❤️ God bless

i actually dont normally plan out my parts like this, but for this last section i was placing images ahead of time, so i thought id do a proces vid! gany (aymric) gave me the idea so all credit to him 🥰
i actually usually do a scene, the scene after, then a transition, so imagine it that way instead i guess...? not a very interesting process video i feel like though LMFAO
this was fun to do! working in a different way than usual is nice :) and being able to visually see my process is super fun!! i recommend doing this if ur render times arent too long 👍

notes: another year another hnk part for char’s bday 🩷!! i struggled BADLY w this theme bc even tho i love watching it my usual editing is basically the complete opposite, i described it to a friend as “u know how my editing is, like, ‘soft’ and bouncy? well the theme is sharp & fast movement, so…” if u looked at my wips the struggle was very obvious but i rly got the hang of it towards the end & im super happy with the final outcome so it was a good learning experience i think ^_^

notes: God i just haddd to edit zexal w this song & theme it’s literally perfect. i think if i had a different part of the song i would’ve used astral & the barians & such but with this section i rly liked how robin fit so i used him :3 i would typically NEVERRR mask something like the first mask i did here cuz it would be sooo much work but i cheated a lil bit by chroma key-ing out most of the background and only having to manually mask the stuff that didn’t get caught LOL while this part is rly simple i had a lot of fun doing it… i love u robin im sorry the zexal writers didn’t.

its senyuu week! i was planning on making something for day 1 too but i got absorbed into shiny hunting so i wasnt able to finish LOL. so heres my first prompt fill for day 2!
this amv didnt necessarily require a lot of editing but i wanted to practice more basic raw and scene selection. it was fun to not have to focus on effects for once ^_^ i wanted to do the whole song but 1) i didnt have a lot of time and 2) i dont think senyuu has enough clips for a full 2 minute amv LOL
i didnt do any of the prompts for this day but instead focused on the gen theme! in the end senyuu is a comedy so i hope i conveyed that with this amv.
