I thought I would be able to complete the game in two parts, just as I had with the first Zelda game, but this game is filled with much more content and puzzles. Near the start of this video(@1:31:30) I engage a strategy called experience farming, where I level up my stats without progressing the game. In Zelda 2, you to gain experience by killing enemies, and once you reach high thresholds of experience, you can choose to level up either your attack damage, size of magic pool, or amount of health. This all sounds like a great system, but whenever you game over, you lose all extra experience you had just gained. The expectation is that you game over MANY times throughout a playthrough, so you are continually losing possibilities to level up.
From reading online, many players do this at the beginning of the game at level 1 so that they will be overpowered as they play through the game. I have been playing somewhat as the game was designed, which is too challenging!
With this new power, I go forward with the game and progress!
