This is a recently finished and released hack by ShadowOne333 and contributed to by many others that attempts to add many quality-of-life improvements, a lot of balance changes, and other adjustments to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
It adjusts the game's difficulty, retranslates dialogue from the ground up which also makes hints much clearer, adds new graphics for Link that improve his appearance to be closer to the concept art without taking away too much from the original sprite's look, adjusts the HUD and more to be more in line with the rest of the series, and much more, without taking away noticeably from the experience of the original game.
A beginner to Zelda 2 will much more easily appreciate what the game was going for if they play this hack, and someone who wants to replay the game will appreciate all the improvements it brings as well.
