ZEISS Cinema attended the 2023 Energa CAMERIMAGE in Torun Poland and got the opportunity to sit down with many cinematographers from all over the world. This is the first in a series of our conversations.
Cinematographer Curren Sheldon is a documentarian focused on the citizens of Appalachia and West Virginia. Working with his partner Elaine McMillion Sheldon, they recently produced an in depth look at the effects of coal mining on the towns and people whos lives are affected by the ore. Using the ZEISS CP.3 family of lenses, Curren weaves a unique blend of documentary and narrative styles to lens this award winning film.
