This is "Zaxx" for the Amstrad CPC released back in 1986 by Chip and developed by Carlo Perconti.
As far as i know it is the only Zaxxon clone and it is a good one.
Of course there are some problems in the perspective that it is used and the difficulty of the game but it has nice 16 color graphics, good diagonal scrolling and the controls are responsive.
