Education can feel overwhelming. Students juggle deadlines, exams, research opportunities, course material, and career decisions, often without a clear system to guide them. At the same time, valuable information and learning tools are scattered across platforms, making it difficult to know where to start or what questions to ask.
In this video, I introduce Zaal, an AI-powered educational assistant platform designed to support both students and educators through personalized guidance, intelligent study assistance, and community-driven learning. The platform helps students explore opportunities related to their academic programs, organize their learning, assess their understanding of course material, and interact with educational content using different conversation styles such as Socratic and sequential learning modes.
Zaal also aims to go beyond traditional AI tutoring by integrating a collaborative community space where students can share opportunities, resources, webinars, blogs, and educational tools. The long-term vision is to create a flexible learning ecosystem that supports learners across different programs, interests, and academic goals.
This project is currently entering pilot testing, with plans for future improvements, funding, and university onboarding.
