Soooooo, I recently got really into Project DIVA and omg it's so fun!! I've already been getting into Vocaloid stuff this year, but Project DIVA's introduced me to so much cool stuff. After playing this song in-game once or twice, I knew I wanted to cover it!
Although, since it's in Drop C, and my main Drop C guitar is kinda out of commission, I was worried. Conveniently, I had just ordered a new 7-string guitar that would fit just fine! So yeah, this is the first thing I've made with that new 7-string (even though I didn't use the 7th string even one time in this cover lmaooooo)
-----
But yeah, I've messed around with Synth V a few times before, but I wanted to give it a proper go with this song. It was a lot of fun to learn and I think it sounds pretty nice!
I feel like I shouldn't have to say this, but I will anyways: I know that Synth V has some 𝔸𝕀 functionality and is marketed as such. Though, to my understanding, the vocalists used to create Synth V libraries consent to it and are compensated.
Let me make it clear that I absolutely DESPISE generative 𝔸𝕀. I find it disgusting, think it is morally/ethically bankrupt, and it's horrible for the environment.
As far as I know, Vocaloid/Synth V (and vocal synth in general) do not have these problems. Maybe someone would think it'd be hypocritical to like vocal synth stuff and hate gen 𝔸𝕀, but whatevs. I'm chilling.

RHYTHM GUITARS
Amplitube 5: ENGL amp / 4x12 Pro XXL cab.
I used Archetype: Nolly as purely a noise gate lol and used the EQ and Overdrive pedals in Amplitube before the amp. I also used Logic Phat FX after the amp to add some harmonics, compression, etc.
I usually use Neural DSP for dist guitars, but I wanted to get that classic 2010s tone and found it with Amplitube! It's kinda crusty/dated, but I like it.
-----
CLEAN GUITARS
Amplitube 5: Metal T Clean amp / 4x12 Metal T 1 cab.
A little EQ and comp before the amp. I adore this clean tone, I'm so happy with it! Used some reverse delay in Amplitube plus some Logic Tape Delay and Silververb.
-----
BASS
Amplitube 5: Gallien-Krueger MB 150 S amp / cab
EQ, comp, and Ampless pedal before amp. Some multiband comp, saturation/distortion, and OTT after the amp.
-----
DRUMS
Superior Drummer 3
- Kick, Snare, Toms: EZD 3 Bright Room (Modified Big Chief preset)
GGD Modern & Massive
- Cymbals
-----
SYNTHS
A mix of Korg Triton, Logic EXS/Alchemy, and Xpand!2.

![Donkey Kong Country 2 - Stickerbush Symphony - Synth-Rock Cover [VGMC] [Music Videos]
I covered this song around a year ago, but Im not satisfied with it anymore so I decided to redo it. Although, its kind of out of my comfort zone, due to the guitars being exclusively clean and crunchy.
