Yuval doesn't hedge: he thinks NextSilicon could be Israel's Nvidia, and one of the largest companies the country has ever produced. Its chip architecture, he says, is something virtually no other startup is attempting — which meant early investors were underwriting both a strategy risk and a deep technical risk. He marks the turning point at the Series A, when Aleph invested and the team built a working simulator: "then everybody started to get it." He also notes that investor Dan Loeb recently wrote to him calling it a potential next Cerebras. "I think it could be Israel's Nvidia."
