Mr. Randi gently chastised some of us for getting on YouTubes case, and this series of videos gives a partial explanation of why many are unwilling to give YouTube the benefit of the doubt.

Part of that suspicion stems from past actions of YouTube, and part of it comes from their lack of communication with us about these matters. They make it very difficult for the average YouTuber to communicate with them if their video has been wrongfully removed.

There is zero tolerance of predatory behaviour, stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy or the revealing of other members' personal information. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from YouTube.
YouTubes policy fails to distinguish between harassment for the greater good of the community and that used for evil.
Example: A troll threatens to rape or kill another YouTube user. Someone finds out this trolls identity and posts it on YouTube. Should YouTube protect this trolls right to his anonymity?
Example two. Peter Popoff is a scam artist who is a religious faith healer. He swindles money out of the ailing and feeble-minded. He is a menace to society who advises sick people to throw away their medicine.
Dprjones has made several videos about Popoff, some of which he will undoubtedly consider harassing.

Dprjones has explicitly stated he wants to put Popoff out of business and he has provided instructions in some of his videos in which he encourages people to use the weaknesses in Popoffs fund-raising scheme against him. If dprjones is successful in his campaign he may help preserve the weak-minded from being swindled out of their life savings and possibly even save lives. Should YouTube suspend his account? Or should they hail him as a community hero?
