Make "Forever Handles" for your bar based tools use nice wood as you can reuse the handle.
Make larger handles BUT be able to take the tool out to sharpen it easily.
Make Travelling handles put the sharp end inside the handle and have a sharp tool on arrival.
MOST IMPORTANT make YOUR size handle both for hand fit and length that suits your use and restrictions like workshop walls etc.
