Basically, I was messing around last night trying to come up with a coloring that would work on most/all of my fandoms, and I'm pretty happy with this one. It might need a bit of brightness adjustment, but overall I think it's pretty. If you feel like crediting me, feel free to do so, but you don't have to (especially since all I do is take colorings I like and screw around with the settings till I find something that works.)

Finally managed to best Vegas and finish this. In which Matthew Michael Murdock has severe scrupulosity and it starts to show in earnest.
I really cant say enough for how amazing it is to me that Daredevil actually tackled the subject of spiritual drought and scrupulosity without having Matt outright permanently reject his faith. Its already so rare to have religion taken seriously in character writing, and after watching relevant scenes from all three seasons, it was handled so well. When I started watching Season 3 I was initially irritated with Matt, but as we found out more and more about his childhood and exactly how much hed suffered and for how long, I regretted being irritated with him because his reactions were more than understandable, they were 100% justified. And thats a testament to the writing team and the performance of Charlie Cox. Its a struggle I understand well because Ive dealt with it myself for practically my whole life, and it really is incredible to get to see what competent and passionate writing can do with the topic.
The voiceovers are a little iffy in this video, so Ill try to add cc as soon as possible.
Anyway, Vegas is giving me grief, and theres a possibility I might wind up moved out, but I have another computer and Im trying out different free softwares because I dont feel like buying a new professional software, lol. Trying out Shotcut for the moment. It seems competent enough but we shall see.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
The theme of this collab is happiness. Youre very welcome to tie in both happiness and sadness the song is fairly wistful, after all but definitely a focus on hope. :)
Not first come, first serve. While I will be making an effort to give everyone who is an editor a chance at joining, I will ultimately decide whether you get in or not.
MUST BE ABLE TO AT LEAST RENDER TO HD, WORK WITH THE MUSIC, AND FOLLOW THE RULES.
THE RULES:
Choose three parts you are able/would like to edit, in order from your favorite to least favorite. You will receive one, although if you are willing to do more than one, please let me know in case we need fill ins. I will try my best to give you one of your preferred parts.
Live action, but animation/video games/etc are allowed IF YOU CAN USE THEM GRACEFULLY.
Overlays and text are allowed under the same rule.
Sound effects and voice overs are welcome if used gracefully, but if you use them you must send them in a separate mp3 with no music.
If you have Sony Vegas, please add the coloring to each individual clip. This really helps the quality of the finished product.
Please add a second or two of clip to either side of your part to help with transitions and minute details later.
We will be using the playlist method for scenes, so you MUST UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO TO YOUTUBE ON UNLISTED, AND PLACE THE DOWNLOAD LINK IN THE DESCRIPTION. I really need to stress this as a lot of people do one or the other, and its very helpful if you do both.
Parallels are very encouraged.
Id really like it if this collab could turn out awesome, so really make some effort and try to do the best you can. And, of course, have fun. :)
