Your Turn to Go - Remixer Commentary
So, this was the first track I made for the project, and honestly the one that inspired this whole thing, when I heard that the entire Your Turn to Die soundtrack was made using GarageBand loops I was honestly taken aback considering how well they translate over to a visual novel setting, so I wanted to do a neat one of remix of the title theme, and that eventually spiraled into the OST you see before you now. As for the track itself, well…there isn’t much to say to be honest. I can tell you that besides the main loop everything you hear was made with one synth, Vital (which is free, btw!) and the only really interesting tidbit is about the middle section, which you may notice has the main motif playing an octave below what it should be, this is due to a process I put it through called Warping, which causes an audio to be put through an algorithm determining its original speed and creating some really interesting results, in the GarageBand loop case it actually made for some really unique harmonies!

Your Turn To Die Remixed is a playable music mod that I’ve been working on for over a year, it is compatible with both the Steam and non-Steam releases of the game, and features 16 arrangements of some of the songs in the soundtrack. These arrangements are meant to work (and loop) in tandem with the existing and pre-established soundtrack, building on its leitmotifs and overall style and expanding on their compositional and production front.
