Maelstrom Musing (uzu) - Remixer Commentary
Special Thank you to Fey for helping with the localization!
When I first heard this nifty 3 second loop I thought of exactly one thing: Daft Punk. It very much gave me French House vibes which is exactly why i took it in a direction more reminiscent of Random Access Memories (their last album) I’m very proud of the bassline in this one and the solo at the end, I wanted to make it a groovy song for someone deep in thought and hopefully I did an alright job!
Localization reason - The metadata title for this one is “思考の渦” which directly translates to “Whirlpool of Thought” I played around with thesaurus.com a little and figured Maelstrom Musing was a good fit.

Your Turn To Die Remixed is a playable music mod that I’ve been working on for over a year, it is compatible with both the Steam and non-Steam releases of the game, and features 16 arrangements of some of the songs in the soundtrack. These arrangements are meant to work (and loop) in tandem with the existing and pre-established soundtrack, building on its leitmotifs and overall style and expanding on their compositional and production front.

I really liked Spooky’s Jumpscare Mansion, I thought it was a delightful little game, but it left me wanting to have my own little spin on the soundtrack, so I decided to give it a fresh coat of paint! (or in this case, sound.) I hope you all enjoy it!
Breakfast was served at an appropriate time and everyone is happy but for some reason there is blood - Composer Commentary:
Yes that title was written by Fiona Apple. This is also a remix of a track from the game, specifically, Ringu’s chase theme: “Breakfast was too Late”. I really like the original, and I thought it could work well in a waltz-like aesthetic. I really took inspiration from the main theme of The Ring as well as Hans Zimmer’s other horror works. A lot of inspiration was also drawn from Christopher Larkin’s work (specifically the one on Hollow Knight). I really didn’t think of the “scare factor” while making this, as this theme isn’t exactly unsettling, but I just really liked what Akuma Kira did with the original and just wanted to expand on it.
