Okay, deep breath. This video took so much courage and strength for me to post. Ive been going back and forth on whether to mention this on my channel since I got the diagnosis last year today. But, Ive made a decision to share this with you all. I will not let this be something Im scared or ashamed for people to know. I am cancer strong.
A year ago today, at the age of 25, I got a diagnosis of breast cancer. It has been one of the hardest years of my life but at the same time, one of the most important. Its taught me so much of my own strength and resilience, as well as shown me just how incredible the people in my life are. And I cant thank them enough for all of the love and support (you know who you are).
On November 7th, 2019 I had my double mastectomy surgery and I am so happy to say that it worked. I got the call on November 11th, that I was cancer-free!
I still have a long and hard road ahead of me but I am strong and am getting through it, with the help of my friends and family. This week has been hard and emotional but I am choosing to make this a proud memory instead of one of shame.
Please make sure to do self-checks and make sure to do the proper research on how to do them! My only symptom was a lump that didnt hurt. No discoloration, no leakage. Just a lump that, thankfully, I got checked in time. Please be safe and healthy.

When I first heard about my Uncle John passing, I didnt think I could edit a slideshow for him. I couldnt imagine sitting there for hours pouring over pictures and doing all the editing.
But when I was asked to find someone I knew would do a good job, I then couldnt imagine letting anyone else do it. John was always so supportive of my editing and after sitting there and thinking about it I knew I wouldnt be able to let anyone else do it.
When I finally got around to editing the slideshow, the experience was so emotional and cathartic. It helped me to process everything in my own way and Im so happy I did this for him.
I love you so so so much John and I will miss you forever.
