It’s common for the mind to get restless when a shape is held a little longer.
I notice it in my own practice too.
A shift from feeling the body to questioning the moment.
How long is this.
What comes next.
That is often where the practice becomes more revealing.
The breath offers something consistent to stay with.
Not as a technique to fix the moment, but as something that is already there.
As attention returns to that rhythm, the experience begins to feel more contained.
Less scattered.
With regular return, there is a different kind of steadiness that builds.
One that carries beyond the mat.
