It's been almost 6 years since the release of Jerry3333's legendary Young Link compilation (youtube.com/watch?v=eE7bXWU36xs). Fast forward to today. Standards change, new expectations are met, and I was starting to take down a lot of Jerry's remaining records with a few other community members, mainly Samplay. Through our combined efforts, we brought the total down to sub 2:05 publicly.

But I still had many ideas to bring us sub 2. While I could've done them myself, I knew it would take time given the insane difficulty of some of these runs, especially since i was swamped with school at the time. So I recruited Samplay since he's a better strat executer/maxer than I am. What takes me 3 hours usually takes him less than 1 lol. He's defs a beast :)

We kept things private and got to work. Generally I would send him the strats and he would execute and max them, along with making any tiny optimizations if necessary, or coming up with his own strats. Or vice versa. This was a VERY collaborative effort, and I think the result is probably one of the coolest mismatch compilations you'll ever see from the BtT community.

All it takes is a little faith and two big brains :)

These records all look optimized, and samplay and i worked hard to get every single stage done as optimally as possible, but BtT surprises us all the time. There always seems to be something better
If you wanna try some of these yourself to find some optimizations or route changes, go for it! If you can find the elusive sub 7 on doc's stage that would be much appreciated hehe.
Samplay and I spent wayyyyyyy too long looking for it lol.
