Waking up at camp is always special - and we did stay at a fantastic place!
But - we had a big day ahead of us, needing to get from Chinchilla to Carnarvon Gorge, buy enough supplies at Roma for 3 nights in the Gorge and find room for it in our luggage!
Then there was the big bottle tree...
I start to really enjoy the new experience of outback roads and scenery, Tony knew some good places to eat and get coffee, and we rode well together through the day.
Eventually I'll get on some outback BACK roads, but day 1 and 2 are all about mileage.
