I decided to show Allen some great, dirt roads that I hadn't been on for years, or even ever!
One of which was Clarence Way - but it is now mostly tarred.
The day was saved thanks to a recent video from @MidCoastAdventures which had revealed to me a great farm track I didn't know of (Llewellyn Road) that took us on an awesome, dirt detour before we found even more good dirt roads to get us over The Clarence River and to Jackadgery.
I met Allen at the one and only CB500X Australian National Meet up and we got on well immediately - we're both silly enough to laugh at each-other's jokes but sensible on the bikes.
We've had a few short rides together, but now it was time to head off into the mountains for an overnight camp on the Old Grafton Road at Mann River.
