Okay, so far so good, though still nothing particularly interesting yet. Ill probably go for Greatwood now and make my way to the Cathedral of the Deep after that.

A really engaging and interesting boss, it makes use of the three enemies with long-ranged attacks and moving environment to keep the players on their toes. The spear enemies will use lasers, which can be best dodged or parried immediately after seeing a red flash on their weapons, while the one with a mace uses it as a boomerang and its attacks are best avoided by staying on the opposite side of the side she keeps her weapon on and dodging into it when it flies towards you. Its also preferable to keep yourself on the larger platforms to avoid their attacks easier and taking opportunities to attack them all at once when they stick really close together (it deals massive amount of damage if you hit them all with each swing)")

My dislike for Ancient Wyvern and its design was pretty high ever since my first playthrough of this game, but after this challenge it stands alongside Bed of Chaos as one of my least favourite bosses in the franchise, as its moveset is probably the most bare bones and simplistic out of all Dark Souls 3 bosses (including the gimmick ones) and just doesnt feel like there was a lot of thought put into it.
Killing the wyvern without sprinting or rolling also creates a few additional problems that make this fight extra frustrating, like the difficulty of positioning yourself in just the right way to be able to avoid either of its two most dangerous attacks, the first one being when Wyvern lunges forward with its entire body (best way to avoid is to stay closer to its legs, or go to its sides enough to avoid the attack, which might be hard without sprinting depending on where you stood when the wyvern started the attack), and the second one when it stomps the ground with its right leg (this attack has some ridiculous, wonky AOE effect in front and to the sides of its leg, which is especially confusing when on stairs, so the best way to avoid it is to keep at a reasonable distance from the legs). The problem with both those attacks is that they complement each other in a way that is pretty unfortunate to the player, i.e. if you get a bit too close you get stomped on, but if you get slightly too far away youll get rammed instead. Theres also the fact that Wyverns AI sometimes freaks out and it starts repositioning itself more to the left or right without concern for player characters position, so you might end up with no free space to move in a certain direction.
