This was probably one of the first lessons I learned upon moving out here that keeps repeating itself so I thought I’d bring some attention to it
Spanish humor is VERY different in how it’s delivered from the US style. For us, we only make these sarcastic jokes with a fry delivery if we have a certain rapport with people — out here it’s not so much the case!
We can have our different opinions on this, I’m happy to hear yours, but from my end it’s been reconfirmed time after time that the way in is to have thick skin
