I am sincerely amazed at the price difference buying groceries here in Barcelona vs the US
A haul here, where I had to stuff my pockets because our grocery bags were overflowing was 94€ (83€ after a coupon) vs in the states it was $250 after the discount…. Absurd!
It could just be because we went to the closest store and it was a Lidl but this is also the same in every Mercadona/Dia/Carrefour I visit.
