EDIT:
Hey!
If you check the comments, you will find some comments about the DAC. Still not sure where there are any DAC (PCM) sounds, I just want to say:
the DAC WAS disabled while I recorded that, as well as the PSG, which is not used AT ALL by those tunes.
The so-called "DAC"-percussion (e.g. in the ISLANDS song, there are these bongos on the left channel and the steel drum-like songs and crashes) is not PCM, just plain FM instruments.
If you disable any other than the 6th channel you will hear it sounds more like a "noise" generator found in many sound chips for game consoles and FM like sounds.
"Real" DAC percussion can be found in SONIC (2,3,Crackers,...), KID CHAMELEON and many other games. If you want to hear a heavy usage of the DAC, check COMBAT CARS! You'll hear the difference between those cute sounds here and the heavy DAC sounds.
The YM3812 (AdLib, SB) also has some percussion shipped with which sound real, but are not
waveform audio...
If you have anything to add, please let me know! Greetings.
Old, previous text:
These songs doesn't use either the DAC nor the PSG at all. It has been composed without those supportive "addons".
(The 6th channel which would be used for the digital effects is used for FM sounds instead).

![[Vanilla DooM] Bugs, Glitches and Crashes - Vol 19 - QUICKIES!!
It was more difficult to create the background song than the video itself. 2 hours for the song, 1.5 hours for the clip ^^ But I have to admit, its great that I only need a few samples to get a full copyright-free song :) [Vanilla DooM] Bugs, Glitches and Crashes - Vol 19 - QUICKIES!!](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/QDGZoE3v88E/mqdefault.jpg)

![[Vanilla DooM crash] Loading a corrupt PWAD
If you have watched my video of the Marilyn Mansion version of SWEET DREAMS recently and scrolled down to the comments, there is a conversation between me and gmodfan11. Long story in short: He used an apparently corrupt WAD file and reported that DOSBOX and Vanilla DooM crashes after a certain amount of play time. I couldnt believe it till I tried it out myself... ![[DooM II music experiment] The Healer Stalks Percussion + X
First I wanted to make a medley of all DooM II songs a couple of tracks are too stubborn to be fit onto the great percussion arrangement of The Healer Stalks...
Maybe I work that out in the future...Maybe. [DooM II music experiment] The Healer Stalks Percussion + X](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/SJJzW6LwrfE/mqdefault.jpg)
![[DOOM OPL] Runway from 007: Goldeneye
I like this one because of the pop feeling and the bass line.
Dont forget about the James Bond reference in the middle. [DOOM OPL] Runway from 007: Goldeneye](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/SLTULheQ7vs/mqdefault.jpg)
