Trigun Stampede had a trailer released this past weekend along with Anime Expo, and it caused a stir. The 90s classic is back with new CG animation from Orange Studio and Toho Animation, giving it's main character Vash the Stampede a new look, and leaving out fan favorite characters like Wolfwood, Meryl, Milly, and Legato, but keeping Knives prominent. The Trailer for Trigun Stampede may have received some mixed or negative opinions, to be expected with CG anime, but I think there's a lot of reason to be hopeful about the remake of this classic. Vash's new design, the animation by Orange and Toho, and the seemingly earlier point in time can all be a good thing, if we look at it right...
