This is a satire story about a struggling writer who steals her dead friend’s manuscript, and tries to pass it off as her own, by acting more Asian. This book is one half a story of a writer’s descent into guilt, paranoia and madness, and the other half a satirical critique of diversity and hypocrisy within the publishing industry.
This is also a stand-alone book that discusses a wide range of ideas and opinions on publishing. It asks questions and presents multiple points of view from all sides of an issue. In short, the book is trying to get you thinking.
