On March 20, 2015, two weeks after the horror attraction based on old ghost stories, Fazbear’s Fright went up in flames, a private auction was held. Those who attended the auction were mostly old fanatics of the old children’s pizzeria known as Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. One of the auctioneers being Fazbear Entertainment superfan Louis Dawkins, who had always been fascinated by the old stories circling around the restaurant, despite the restaraunt closing four years prior to his birth.
Some items in the auction were intact relics recovered from the fire, but others were held in a storage unit for later addition to the attraction, some of these items being 9 VHS tapes, all from the same day and year, labeled as FFP (though the handwriting makes the P look like a D). Dawkins was under the impression that these were old performance tapes of the animatronics, but what he found was much more disturbing.
The stories revolving around the children’s restaurant involved a serial killer infamously known only as The Yellow Rabbit that lured children into a back room of the pizzeria to where they were never seen again. He was one of two serial killers more known in Hurricane in the 80’s, the other being known as ███████. The only evidence of where they went were blood trails that were left where their bodies were dragged the next morning. But regardless of the trails, no one could find the bodies until 1991, when blood and mucus started forming around the eyes and mouths of the animatronic entertainers, which resulted in the location closing for good. The less believable of these stories, but more popular on Fazbear Entertainment’s reputation, is that the animatronics moved around at night, haunted by the souls of the Yellow Rabbit’s victims.
Many people still ponder the identity of the Yellow Rabbit, but some never believed he existed. All sightings were from witnesses only, and because of how rarely he appeared, he was often confused as a costumed entertainer. No images existed of him, as every time children went missing, the security footage did as well, so many people years after the events only believed these stories as fiction. That all changed when Dawkins viewed the tapes he won at the auction.
The tapes were of old security footage from the evening June 14, 1982, showing individual areas of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, with only the characters Freddy Fazbear and Bonnie the Bunny as the mascots (oddly missing Chica the Chicken and Foxy the Pirate Fox). These tapes now mark the first media appearance of the Yellow Rabbit.
Judging by the date, the child that went missing that day was 7 year old Micheal Brooks, though his body was never seen in the footage. The Yellow Rabbit disables the cameras as well as the audio so that no one finds out where the body was hidden. Not only do these tapes prove the Yellow Rabbit’s existence, but they also confirm the old rumors that the animatronics moved at night, as for the last few frames of the Show Stage footage, Freddy’s head starts turning towards the camera.
“I always imagined Freddy’s as a place of joy.” Dawkins said. “But this is beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m speechless."
The footage has all been edited together to be viewed all at once for a more efficient viewing experience
