The true anniversary of Five Nights at Freddy's. In just 34 seconds five years ago today, what would be a gaming legend was born.
Five Nights at Freddy's is a game that has changed my life for the better. I cannot deny that I love this game, as when I tried to leave it, all roads out of it led right back into it. It's hard to imagine I used to not like it. Everyone just kept talking about it, and it annoyed me (But my basic mindset was basically "if it ain't Freddy Kruger, I ain't interested.").
But when I finally checked it out with a Minecraft video by DanTDM (I used to be a wimp five years ago, so don't judge me.), a whole new world opened up to me (no Disney reference intended). I could not be more proud to be who I am today. Scott Cawthon to me is a true inspiration, because he made a difference by doing something different, and made the game that connected us around the globe. And that is exactly my goal: to connect to people around the world through art.
Freddy will always be a character; a legend close to my heart.
So basically why this video exists is because I was listening to the Showtime audio from Help Wanted, and I thought "Hey, I wonder what would happen if I made the FNAF 1 trailer with the Showtime audio?". I didn't realize at that time that I would be recreating the whole audio and remaking a lot of the visuals. But that's my little brain for you. =)
