Yehliu Geopark is home to a number of unique geological formations including the icon "Queen's Head" and is located along the promontory that stretches from the city of Wanli. Part of the Miocene Daliao Formation, the cape stretches around 1,700 meters, formed as thousands of years of geological movement forcing the Datun Mountains to change their shape, jutting into the sea.

Apart from Queen's Head, other amazing formations include Sea Candles, Fairy Shoes, Ginger Rocks, Elephant Rock, Ice Cream Rock, Kissing Rock, and Princess Head. Next to the Geopark is the Yehliu Sea World, which is an ocean with sea exhibits, and marine life including performances of dolphins and sea lions. Tickets for oceanarium can be ordered online, and are a pleasant addition to a more educating experience at Geopark. Yehliu Geopark Taiwan.
