Yang Zhaopeng: son of Yang Banhou, was a humble leader of Yang family who stayed in Guang ping, Yongnian while other family (Yang Jianhou, Yang Shaohou, and Yang Chengfu) were teaching in Beijing and Shanghai. 3rd generation Yang Chengfu was chosen to teach the masses a watered down "public" version of the Yang family Tai Chi to protect the family art from outsiders, but just enough to help heal the nation. Yang Shaohao was not chosen to be the Yang family representative to the nation of China, he was too aggressive and it was said few could stand 3 months of training with him.

According to Yang family, Yang Shaohou only had a few people who studied with him. He was a opium addict and committed suicide. Xu Yusheng, Chen Weiming, Wu Tunan, Tian Zhaolin, Gu Luping, Ma Runzhi, all demo very different forms from what they may have gotten from Yang Shouhou.
