A rock/metal cover of the track 'Yaldabaoth', or 'Jaldabaoth', from the video game Persona 5 (and Persona 5 Royal).
While I actually haven't played Persona 5 due to not owning a PS4, I very much love the story and the music is just so damn good! This final boss theme is quite a weird one, since final boss themes are usually grand and epic, where as this one is lot more simple and just gritty, which really caught my ear, and I think it's an underrated track in general.
My approach for this cover was relatively simple, following the original arrangement but adding my heavier style of production, as well adding more prog metal styled riffs. I've also included 2 very intentional Dream Theater references as I thought they actually fit the song quite nicely, and 1 very small but specific FF7 reference, so definitely leave a comment if you catch any of them! This cover was definitely a super fun one to play, so I hope you enjoy the video just as much as I did making it!
