A flashback scene with Big Lo and his now dead son Jimmy is shown where Lo is prepping his son to take over the Saio Triad.
However, Jimmy Lo was more ambitious than his father anticipated and made backdoor deals with Tsuneo Iwami.
As Big Lo knows his time is running out, he hands Kiryu a memory card containing data from the microfilm his father left him. On it are coordinates which would lead to the secret of Onomichi that nobody up till now has been able to decipher.
