I needed a fume extractor for the office to keep solder fumes out of my eyes. I decided to try the new 468ESD from Xytronic, since I'm happy with their soldering station. To make a long story short, it works pretty well at about 4 inches distance from the soldering iron. I've since been using it on my projects.
