X.L. Rag by L. Edgar Settle, composed in 1903.
This is the only published rag by Lee Edgar Settle, an established pianist from Missouri, though he did also compose the "Missouri Waltz" (originally "The Graveyard Waltz") which later became the state song. The rag is dedicated to the X.L. Club of New Franklin and is a solidly composed tune. It begins in D-flat Major (the B strain feels quite Maple Leaf reminiscent) and moves into a clever trio in G-flat major (so the key signatures are definitely 'extra'!)
