After nearly 8 months of looking at the bow on the wall I shoot my Xiaoshao for the first time!
The โXiaoshaoโ from Spearman is a Ming style bow and has been ordered via Cinnabar bow/ Jie Tian

โLaoqiang (่ๆง), the bowyer, hails from Jiangsu province and has stellar reputation in China for producing traditional Chinese bows with an efficient laminated construction. His laminated bows are made with a bamboo core, Bearpaw fiberglass on the belly and back, as well as a rayskin arrow pass and ratan wraps above/below the handle.โ
Allowed min arrow weight: 9gpp
Along with the bow I use the matching Ming quiver set, handcrafted by Daoyi Handcraft (or ้ไธๆ้ in Chinese).
The arrow quiver has revealed a special feature: the bottom is magnetic, so that the arrows stand in the quiver! Really cool! ๐๐ป
