Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Sunday for the 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit and an official state visit.

Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, were welcomed at Manas International Airport by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and his wife, Aigul Japarova.
