Here's a clip that's a bit more recent than my usual video uploads from the 1970's and 80's.
This recording took place on August 18th, 1991, as a hurricane watch became a warning for the coast around the New York City tri-state area. Hurricane Bob's impending arrival was announced during the WWOR Universal 9 (out of Secaucus, New Jersey) Sunday Night Movie with a crawl shown twice along the bottom of the screen. I kept the ending of the movie (Hitchcock's "The Wrong Man," 1956) as well as the outro, with voiceover teasing the following night's evening movie. (Growing up in the '70's, I knew channel 9 as simply WOR.) I don't recognize the announcer's voice, doesn't sound like Phil Tonken or Ted Mallie to me...
