Wulfcode is a simple programming language/syntax with integrated editing environment and MIDI I/O, which runs from one application as two text windows. It was originally written from scratch in the week leading up to an Algorave event in April 2014 (inspired by Thor Magnusson's ixilang extension to SuperCollider), and I've just done another few days' work on it to tidy the code, overhaul and replace some old functions and generally make it all more flexible and stable.

I originally recorded a huge 40+ minute demonstration video, but I realised that anyone who's interested in this sort of thing will be able to understand from these few minutes what's going on; the rest, they'll be able to get from the documentation when Wulfcode is released properly (very soon). I'm also putting it up on GitHub in case anybody wants to improve it, fix it for their own platforms (it should be cross-platform but I haven't tested it on Windows or Linux yet), or whatever.

Short version: use Wulfcode to type note sequences and send them as MIDI to a software DAW (e.g. Ableton Live) to be played through VST softsynths and samplers, or straight out to hardware MIDI synthesisers and samplers. The MIDI clock from your DAW or hardware is received by Wulfcode, and it runs in sync with that clock's tempo.
