Is it Possible to Make Kirby Fall Asleep During Each Boss Fight in Kirby: Squeak Squad? whoisthisgit 2024-07-05 | In 2019, I used Sonic's impatient attitude in Sonic CD as the basis for a challenge, and now, the Kirby series is about to get a similar treatment.In Squeak Squad, If you don't move Kirby at all for around 16 seconds and he doesn't take a hit, he'll go through his idle animation of falling asleep.Not the wisest thing to do in the heat of battle, but I became curious to see if it was possible to get Kirby to nod off during the game's boss battles. I've decided this would make for a fine sub-series in a similar vein to Bosses I Hate...Today's featured boss comes from the never-ending waterfall of misery, Alundra on the original Sony Playstation...Bosses are naturally scary and intimidating: they're (usually) powerful and they (usually) tower over the player character. But it takes something especially frightening to get to transform me from the brave boss-slaying warrior I usually am to a cowering little girl hiding in a corner. Today, I'm focusing on the bosses that I fear the most.There is no one true way for boss to be considered scary by my standards, they come in all shapes and sizes and skins. (Definitely skins) Perhaps the boss has a disgusting, unnatural design that puts barf bags back in business. Maybe they do horrible, unspeakable things to your character if they get a hold on them. Worst Levels Ever # 46 whoisthisgit 2023-12-18 | Unfortunately, although there are lots of fantastic levels and stages in video games, there are also a fair few awful ones.Since their inception in 1997 with PaRappa the Rappa, (At least I THINK that's the first one) I've had a somewhat turbulent relationship towards the rhythm action genre. At one point, I regarded them all as stupid, simplistic and a complete waste of time compared to so many other video games out there.Nowadays, my opinion of them has improved dramatically and I definitely respect them for what they are. Can You Beat Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle Without Jumping? whoisthisgit 2023-11-20 | Alex Kidd in The Enchanted Castle, one of the oldest Genesis games around, (I can't believe it came out in 1989!) and a pretty simple yet scary platformer overall. If there's any game of this genre I'd expect to be beatable without a single jump, it'd be this one. Well, I decided to put that to the testo...But some of the items the Kidd has at his disposal might actually make the challenge too easy. Boss Analysis # 67 whoisthisgit 2023-10-19 | Bosses are naturally scary and intimidating: they're (usually) powerful and they (usually) tower over the player character. But it takes something especially frightening to get to transform me from the brave boss-slaying warrior I usually am to a cowering little girl hiding in a corner. Today, I'm focusing on the bosses that I fear the most.There is no one true way for boss to be considered scary by my standards, they come in all shapes and sizes and skins. (Definitely skins) Perhaps the boss has a disgusting, unnatural design that puts barf bags back in business. Maybe they do horrible, unspeakable things to your character if they get hold on them. Don't underestimate the power of music and what it can add to the atmosphere either, or maybe they simply dish out huge damage and I'm constantly worrying I'm going to make that single mistake that gets me killed.Just to note, fear is a very subjective topic, and as such, what makes me want to run for the hills and beyond might have zero effect upon you whatsoever and vice versa. Any bosses you think I should've included may have been disregarded for being too obvious or just not being scary enough to me.
