Is@rameishdesouzaJamaica's most creative up and coming chef?! Today Mik from @YaadLifesGood and I are on a rooftop kitchen in Portmore, trying some extremely UNIQUE and tasty creations.
The focus for the dish is banana stem, the inside heart of a banana plant, which although grows all over Jamaica is very rare to see in cuisines. Fried up with ackee, sweet pepper, onion, garlic and Rameish's seasonings, this one is a guaranteed HIT.
To drink we are having one of the craziest creations yet, a classic Jamaican dish but turned into a DRINK?! Yes this is rice and peas rum punch...I guarantee you've never had this in your life! Blended up rice and peas with Dragon Stout, Suplagen protein, vanilla and of course some Wray & Nephew white rum ;). Mad respect to Rameish and Mik for the great afternoon, please give them a follow below.
