Just messing around on WoW, I bought one of those multi-seat mounts, the mount has its own health, so fall damage does not hurt the player. I tested this by jumping off the side of the floating city Dalaran.
Update: After uploading this, I found way better versions by other people, for example, look for mammoth base jumping. Silly me, I should have searched youtube before bothering with fraps to upload something redundant.
Another update: This was fixed in WoW, so you now take fall damage. Oh well, I had fun while it lasted.
