You may think traveling to Falconwing Square in a no-fly zone wasn't worth it, but the place spawned so many eggs that I was missing some right in front of me. Since I had to catch up in my purchasing of event items, needing several hundred eggs, this was totally worth it, and very efficient in travel form. (Although with other classes I simply made a macro for the egg basket boost.)
This is my favorite WoW holiday event, and I am now using the Easter hearthstone on my druid and some other chars.
