Learn how to level blacksmithing 1-700 in Wow quick with our walkthrough video tutorial for vendor bought blackmithing plans for Alliance characters part 1 with costs included. Horde guides coming in the future! This guide will help you level blacksmithing for World of Warcraft and it will point you towards the plans you need to make gold with blacksmithing in Wow, but it's primarily aimed at blacksmithing completionists who want to collect all the blacksmithing recipes in the game.

This blacksmithing profession tutorial to finding all vendor bought plans for the Alliance of the World of Warcraft is the first in a series of videos we’re making for both Alliance and Horde players to show people where to find all the plans and recipes for their professions, both for completion purposes and for using wow professions to make gold with the new patterns obtained, dependant upon their realm's Auction House prices.
Our blacksmithing video guide assumes that players will have a blacksmithing character at level 100 in WoD at some point, so we start from current content where the Garrison is concerned and move on towards the start of the game back in Stormwind. You’ll see us travel everywhere you need to go and include maps of every location of vendors on-screen, so you’ll never get lost. We show pictures of every NPC you need to hunt down, what rep you may need in order to gain access to those plans, any costs in terms of gold or materials needed and whether the plans are limited quantity. These are the plans that some people have a hard time tracking down. We give you a list of every item from every vendor so you know exactly what you can expect to buy up front and what you may have to come back later for at a later date. As the guides for the Alliance and Horde are vastly different in terms of NPCs and reputation, we have to split the guides up. And we certainly can’t assume people have blacksmithing on both sides, after all. J
Finally, a note about travelling: We worked out the easiest route for characters without teleportation items beyond the hearthstone, and have assumed that your hearthstone is set to the portal hub (currently the Shrine of Seven Stars in Pandaria, as it also has portals to Dalaran and Shattrath), so you can travel to the major cities easily. Many people will have items such as the Medallion of Karabor which can be used as shortcuts and will make the journey even quicker, but this guide doesn't require you to have anything beyond a hearthstone and flying mount, as we wanted to make it as accessible as possible to all players.
