I did, and it was one of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences I’ve ever had.

The best part? The manatees are in control. You don’t chase or touch them. If they choose to come over and interact with you, you’re incredibly lucky.

This experience gave me a whole new appreciation for these gentle giants and why protecting their habitat matters.
