This double-sided polearm shows up in various fantasy settings here and there, like in the hands of Divada from Weaponlord or Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish for instance.
Two sickle or scythe blades at either end of a (more or less) long haft, usually with opposite orientations, one blade facing forward and the other pointing backward. Quite an interesting, cool looking weapon.
But how well would it work in the real world? Is it a realistic design or does it have too many drawbacks? Let's fine out in a hands-on demonstration!
