If Brunson leads the Knicks over Wemby and the Spurs, I have to put him number one over Wemby. No question.
But then Combo raises the real debate — does he start creeping into Isaiah Thomas territory among all-time guards? Isaiah got two rings as the best player on those teams. Brunson's a great scorer, but Isaiah was also a real point guard in the traditional sense.
