Would you get the worlds worst hair cut for a free skateboard? Thatās exactly what our local Zumiez Skateshop put up as a challenge at their open skate night! We explored the skate night with friends and enjoyed free SWAG, skateboarding, painting, live music, and more!
Lincoln actually TOOK THE CHALLENGE! Thatās right he got a bowl cut AND he got a free skateboard. He was able to design it and paint it all on his own and even have it cut by the legendary Paul Schmitt. Professor Schmitt called his design the ādouble diamondā and we think it turned out awesome!
Create a Skate is an organization that allows you to make skateboards as part of STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) even WITHOUT getting a bowl cut. If you are looking for a fun STEM project definitely check them out at: createaskate.org
